Charlotte

I was born in Arkansas and at the age of 17 moved to Texas. I got a great job at a screen printing company. They made college uniforms and sports outfits. It was great learning about screen printing. I met my husband Martin, who was in construction. We decided to move to Florida. He started his own business, so I wanted to find something for myself. I had a friend that worked at Lou's Tattoos and got a few tats and piercings. I told him, "You need some help". So, he told me to come in Monday in '97 and I started out doing paperwork, setting appointments and answering the phone. For the next 3 months I learned how to pierce, and I've been piercing for 5 years now. I enjoy going to work not many people like their jobs, but ours is different everyday. We are a family working together. I owe thanks to Lou and Connie from Lou's Tattoos.
